Reeve’s House Museum

The Reeve’s House Museum as the House No 1 is the oldest preserved structure in Kopřivnice. The original timber house was converted by the reeve Jakub Šustala to its present look in 1789. The museum currently offers a presentation of the way of the local people’s lives in the past, the folk customs and traditions. Visiting the museum you will learn how our ancestors lived and travelled, as it was right here where Ignác Šustala began with his carriage-building business back in 1850, by which he had laid the foundation of today’s Tatra automobile factory.
